Returns & Refunds

Everything sold here is made to your own specification. That changes what can and cannot be returned, so this policy differs from the main shop. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected.

Consumer Guarantees

All products are sold in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2, Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)). Consumer guarantees cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified. Products must be of acceptable quality, match their description, and be fit for any purpose communicated at the time of purchase. Where a product does not meet these guarantees you are entitled to a remedy - for a major failure, a full refund or replacement at your choice; for a minor failure, a repair, replacement or refund at discretion.

Custom-Made Goods

A bespoke fragrance is blended specifically for you from a formula you chose. It cannot be restocked or resold. For that reason change-of-mind returns cannot be accepted, and this includes deciding you do not like the scent you designed.

This is why the process is built the way it is. Each ingredient carries a description of how it smells and behaves in a blend, and sample sets are available from the main shop if you want to smell the materials before committing to a full bottle. Please use them - they exist precisely because a custom blend cannot be returned on preference.

Cancelling or Changing an Order

You can change or cancel your formula at no cost at any point before production begins. Once blending has started the materials are committed and cannot be recovered, so cancellation is no longer possible. You will always be told when production is about to begin.

How to Make a Claim

Email hello@profoundnaturals.com.au within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photographs or video of the issue. Verified claims are resolved promptly, and return shipping for confirmed faults is covered in full.

Profound Naturals accepts no liability for adverse physical reactions - including skin irritation, allergic responses, or sensitivities - to naturally occurring botanical concentrates. Because you select the ingredients yourself, please review each ingredient description and any allergen note before building your formula, and patch test before first use.
